Cod delicious and well cooked. What's weird is that the place stinks of bleach, and cleaning spray and hand sanitiser in the same place as salt and vinegar. Didn't have chips so can't comment

3 chums & I finished a bike ride with high hopes of a chippy dinner, as we got to the shop they were closing but they stayed open and cooked us a fresh batch! How’s that for going the extra mile. Great chips and friendly service. Will be back.

Having just finished a bicycle ride we stumbled to the front door as the owner was shutting up. Without a skipped beat a lovely smile was beaming at us. We asked if we were too late to order (knowing full well we were) but the reply was that they were still open. The frier was switched back on and the chips were freshly made - good sized portions served with a smile. Good chips and great customer service!
