We came here on our first trip to Thailand - Bangkok in 2023 . I think the stars just aligned for us that day . We arrived at 11 am , out our names down ( 2 of us not sure how many were ahead of us) and waited for 1 hour. Everyone waiting with us had the similar story ; saw her on the Netflix special and had to come tick off the experience. After we were seated it took about 30 minutes for our crab omelettes - drunken noodles - and a shrimp dish to come out. Each dish was tasty but not mind blowing . We didn’t notice our exchange with the staff because we were chatting the entire time with a lot of cool interesting fellow travellers . Is there “ better “ food for a much cheaper price in Bangkok ? Absolutely. Would we go again ? Well we thought about it but no . We are happy we did bit we understand the frustration of the long wait time and this was the longest we ever waited . We’re happy for her success and it’s an experience worth having . Just don’t go when you’re starving and anticipate a very long wait .
