We played Orphanage and really wanted to enjoy this, but there were a lot of points for improvement. Firstly, the audio messages throughout were impossible to understand - far too quiet to be heard over the lightning and thunder effects. The storyline - maybe because of this - was incomprehensible to us. The jump scares had nothing to do with the plot, so it was just... strange? Often we completed a task but the relevant door/ cupboard didn't open until several minutes later, which confused everything and made it impossible to really enjoy. The puzzles themselves were also a little weak, and the decor or detail in the rooms was minimal. We've done 4 or 5 rooms in other cities around the world, and this was unfortunately almost the worst.
