This ice skating rink has a lot of issues that need to be addressed. The first thing you notice is the smell. The entire place smells bad and the rental skates are even worse. They are clearly not cleaned properly. The skates are old, uncomfortable, and caused a lot of pain while skating. There were no instructions or guidance provided. People were just sent out onto the ice without any safety briefing. Many were falling and getting hurt but staff did not step in or seem to care at all. The ice surface was poorly maintained. There were ice shavings everywhere and the surface was very bumpy. It looked like it had not been resurfaced in a long time. Staff were not helpful and came across as rude when asked questions. For the price being charged, the service and conditions are far below what they should be. The only positive thing I can say is that some people still managed to have fun despite everything. I think that is more because this is the only rink in the area rather than the quality of the experience. If you are planning to go, just be aware of what to expect. I believe reviews like this should be taken seriously by both visitors and management.
