Vijf sterren? Minstens 7! Als je denkt dat je de gezelligste bar ooit hebt bezocht, denk dan nog eens. De bar verstopt op zolder, is niet zomaar een bar… het is een portaal naar een parallel universum van pure gezelligheid. Zodra je de trap op loopt (waar ik later vanaf viel, kinderhekje aangeraden), voelt het alsof je een geheime speakeasy betreedt waar alleen de leukste mensen ter wereld welkom zijn. De inrichting? Een creatieve mix van vintage bierviltjes, lampjes die het hele jaar branden, en een barkruk die waarschijnlijk al meer verhalen heeft gehoord dan de gemiddelde talkshowhost. En de drankjes… man, ik heb geen idee wat ik dronk, maar het smaakte alsof Bacchus zelf het had ingeschonken. Laatst zaten we daar rustig een biertje te doen toen iemand een oud dartbord van onder het stof haalde. Binnen vijf minuten veranderde het in het Wereldkampioenschap Dartmeten-op-geluk. Pijltjes vlogen overal heen, één belandde in een plant, en op de een of andere manier werd dat uitgeroepen tot de winnende worp. We hebben nog steeds geen idee wat er gebeurde, maar het was legendarisch. Kleine tip: zet er een pooltafel neer. Niet omdat het moet, maar omdat het dan simpelweg onmogelijk wordt om ooit nog weg te gaan.
