The food was absolutely delicious and the staff very helpful, particularly with my mum who has a severe shellfish allergy but wanted to be sure she could have fish without worrying. It was also great to have parking.

We've been to Tapa on many occasions over the years. It's a family favourite. So much so, our daughter chose it to celebrate her 21st birthday with us. The timing was perfect as her birthday was on a Thursday and due to time restraints, we accidentally discovered the Thursday Club which is excellent value. However, things have changed. There's barely any meat on the menu. The other items are delicious but albóndigas are the only meat (unless you want a steak). Staff were mainly attentive but we were forgotten about as more people began to arrive. In the past, when celebrating a birthday, the churros have had "Happy Birthday" on them but this time it was just a small candle after I asked. I am a real tapas fan and I've eaten chocolate con churros all over Spain. I've always said Tapa is the closest I've come to Spanish tapas in Scotland. The chocolate was watery and tasteless. The chocolate makes the chocolate con churros and this was a real disappointment. So, usually a 5* experience. But not this time, I'm really sad to say...
