Mixed feelings about Kim’s Mini Meals. The food is great but… On one visit, my friend and I had to wait over 30 minutes in the rain to get a table because they don’t take reservations — not ideal, though I understand it’s a small and popular place. Another time, while dining with my family, the owner kept coming by to ask if we had finished, even though we were clearly still eating and talking. It made the experience feel rushed and a bit uncomfortable. That said, the food is excellent. The bibimbap here is the best I’ve ever had, and the complimentary mini appetizers (like pickled vegetables, sautéed greens, potatoes and sometimes even soup) are such a nice touch. If it weren’t for the rushed feeling during our visit, and the unknown waiting time in the rain, I’d have easily given 5 stars for the food!

Well worth visiting for delicious Korean bowls and plates! Extremely good value for money (£14 main with a couple of little extra bites to begin). We had the ribs, beef, and pork stew, all of which were extremely tasty… and the kimchi was more moreish than a moreish thing from Moreishtown! Charlie served us — impeccable, swift, friendly dude. Pay rise for him IMMEDIATELY. Gets busy, no reservations, just get in line… it moved fast.
