Such a cute cafe with a beautiful spread of freshly baked cakes and bakes. A wee bit out of the way from a lot of things but it was worth visiting still! They have a lovely Instagram too, sharing all the different bakes they are offering ♥️

A neighbourhood gem - wow! We’d spotted this on a stroll recently and it was closed. Pushing our faces against the window, I just knew it was worth coming back to. And wow it most certainly was. We STARTED with a coffee…then a bowl of soup with a cheese scone…then strawberry shortbread…then a slice of raspberry/almond cake (yep with a cofeee!) and Lordy then we were so full we waddled home. Every single thing we bought was absolutely delicious. Home made and wholesome. The type that with every mouthful your Soul says thank you! And each purchase, each customer, was greeted with wide smiles and friendly patter. It’s a lovely place simply to hang out and watch the world go by. Edinburgh has endless bakeries to choose from and they are not all made the same. This is a “keeper”. We’ll be back. Probably waddling. 😆
