Preislich liegt das Bier hier angenehm unter dem Niveau vieler anderer Orte der Stadt. Besonders das deutsch-schottische Thema ist gelungen umgesetzt: Die hausgebrauten Biere nach deutschem Vorbild sind nicht nur interessant, sondern geschmacklich absolut überzeugend. Das Ambiente ist bewusst dunkel gehalten und vereint industriellen Charme mit gemütlichen Akzenten. Holz- und Metallmöbel, gedämpftes Licht und originelle Details wie Sessel aus alten Holzfässern verleihen dem Raum eine besondere Note. Für uns war The Keller der perfekte Ort, um unseren Urlaub entspannt ausklingen zu lassen – ein Platz, an den man gerne zurückkehrt, wenn man das nächste Mal in Edinburgh ist.

Really nice vibes inside with lots of different seating options including some swinging chairs in the nooks by the front. The main area is a big hall so can get loud. They had a live DJ on the night.
