Got a table by chance - we didn't even know that this place is on the Michelin list! We had the roast beef and fish and chips, both were delicious. The roast beef is medium rare, perfectly cooked. The chips was soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. Shout out to the homemade lemonade - sweet, tart, fizzy and zingy. Will definitely visit again but probably should reserve ahead...

Lovely restaurant with great food. Sophie was a very attentive & friendly service. We ordered flatbread & fish & chips to share, & two glasses of white wine. When I couldn’t decide between two kind that I hadn’t heard of, she brought tastings of each — so kind! Then the food! For us Americans used to this flatbreads, theirs is about an inch thick & rather pillowy, more like focaccia, which they also offer as an appetizer. The fish was fresh, moist & flaky, the batter crispy thin, crunchy & light - almost like a delicious shellac (if know what I mean?). But the chips! Wow! Crunchy, sweet/sour salty, and soft clouds of hot potato inside, almost like thick stick of mashed potatoes packaged in a crispy casing. Heaven in every bite! Apparently, the chef steams the (thick) potato sticks, let them cool, then fries them super crunchy, then sprinkles them with two types of salt (one’s called black thorn). That’s what we remember the host saying anyway — sorry if some details are off! Regardless, I’d go back just for the potatoes!
