I always buy a weekly visitors pass to swim at Glenogle when I visit Edinburgh. Fantastic Victorian pool with sauna and steam room, run by friendly and helpful staff. A hidden gem that I would highly recommend!

My local leisure centre. Hardworking friendly and knowledgeable staff who are always on hand to help. Special shout out to the great gym staff Gary, Julie and Craig 💪. The gym is pretty small but has 2 rooms - 1 for free weights, the other for weights and fitness machines. The pool is roughly 20metres and is a lovely Victorian style with a sauna and steam room - very nice place to be. Unfortunately being Stockbridge you do get the loud obnoxious types - even though this is a council facility. Marked down because the male shower area beside the pool is in pretty poor condition with lots of green and black mould marks and showers work infrequently- fix this and it’s a 5/5

Lucky find as was hoping to swim while visiting the city. Fortunately in the morning the pool was not too busy. Added the sauna option. Easy to change in cabins adjacent to the pool. The Victorian pool hall was a treat to swim in given the many windows allowing light to pour in.
