Gorgeous area with an amazing view of the castle in the background. You can walk this whole trail which runs parallel to the main road right by the Scott monument. Definitely could take your time and enjoy this area! Lots of people doing photoshoots as this was a great place to take pictures. At sunset the castle is completely illuminated and teal of the fountain really pops. Would definitely suggest to stop by when in Edinburgh!

Absolutely stunning! I loved visiting it! the architecture and intricate details are truly something to admire. Set against the backdrop of Edinburgh Castle, it feels both elegant and dramatic, and it’s such a beautiful spot to stop and take in the view. The restoration has really brought out its charm, and it’s one of those places that makes you appreciate the artistry and history of the city. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Edinburgh!
