C’est le bâtiment le plus récent du château d’Edimbourg (1927). Son style néogothique lui permet de bien s’intégrer au monument historique. C’est surtout l’intérieur qui saisit le visiteur car il rend hommage à tous les soldats, sous-officiers et officiers écossais tombés sur tous les théâtres d’opérations à travers les siècles.
