I had such a great time at Museum on the Mound! It’s not your typical tourist attraction, there were hardly any crowds, and that made it feel very peaceful and personal. The collection of old money and banking history is fascinating, and it’s laid out in a way that’s easy to follow, even if you’re not an expert. There’s also a fun little game you can play during your visit, which I found exciting. Its not every day a museum lets you win something! I’d highly recommend stopping by if you want something off the beaten path that’s still fun, educational, and surprisingly interactive.

I love that it was free to visit. There is a lot of history here and lots to learn. You can see £1million as well as learn lots of History. It is very child friendly with a range of trails. The lady working the desk was very knowledgeable and helped the kids out. Highly recommend a visit.
