After walking round Durham for the fire and ice festival we saw a sign advertising real ale so my hubby was off! Thankfully not too far to walk but down lots of steps. it is very small with no inside seats but few outside under cover. 4 real ales so we tried 3 and mine with the chilli certainly had a kick! They also have g&t in cans, prosecco, cider and soft drinks + crisps and nuts.

Visited with my Boyfriend and Brother after spotting a guy with a sign and decided to try it. We absolutely loved it! Would highly recommend I really wish I could give more than five stars haha. The pop up pub is open the first, second and fourth Saturday of the month. Plus they sometimes have live music. We loved sitting in the sunshine and watching the river. The staff, are so warm friendly and inviting, we stayed there over five hours! Haha. The ale, is gorgeous and so inventive, I had an lemongrass and ginger which was delicious and unusual. Plus the best part is IT'S £3.80 A PINT!!! You will not find a better bargain anywhere! Absolutely amazing! Could not rate them highly enough. Btw the toilet is walk down the hill, turn left and its a little white building, black door with T on it. Very clean and maintained. Fabulous, for people watching. Everyone should go here!
