This has to be the nicest cafe in Dublin. I love the high ceilings and the huge windows looking out onto the entrance to the Royal Hospital. Unlike a lot of cafes in Dublin which are cramped and crowded the court house cafe is very spacious and airy. The food is great, filling hot soup and delicious cakes. I strongly recommend it.

Can’t speak to how it was back in the day, but the Kilmainhan gaol prison has really stepped up their food. The people serving were lovely
