Armonioso palacio de 1878, mandado construir por la III Duquesa de Bailén como residencia de verano, de estilo neoclásico, atribuido al arquitecto francés Adolfo Ombrecht. Fue residencia veraniega de la familia real hasta la construcción del palacio de Miramar y posteriormente, residencia veraniega del dictador Franco. Actualmente, alberga la Casa de la Paz y los Derechos Humanos. Bajo los jardines del lado norte, se ha construido un moderno centro cultural muy bien integrado en el conjunto.
