The Palace of Culture and Science, located in the center of Warsaw, is not only one of the most famous buildings in the country but also the tallest in the city! It stands at about 230 meters tall, and it even has an observation deck.

The architect of the building was L. Rudnev, and it appeared as a gift to Poland from the Soviet Union.

Today, the palace is among the top 10 tallest buildings in the European Union! The building's premises are occupied by office spaces, and it also houses the Warsaw Congress Center, which can accommodate around 3000 people and has an exhibition area of more than 10,000 sq m! Exhibitions, meetings, and fairs are constantly held here. Besides, the Palace hosts scientific institutes, museums, swimming pools, cinemas, and much more.
