Today, they represent a unique form of handcrafted decoration, embodying the traditions of Venice. Ca Macana shop is one of the finest and oldest Venetian workshops specializing in mask making. Here, you can purchase a truly unique mask, one of a kind. Interestingly, at this shop, you can order a workshop for both children and adults, gaining a lot of positive experiences and creating your own mask.

Tijdens ons bezoek aan Venetië met onze kinderen van 12 en 14 zijn we hier maskers komen maken. Top activiteit als je iets leuks voor de kids tijdens een bezoek aan Venetië wilt toevoegen! Olga gaf duidelijk uitleg aan onze dames, en doet dat op indrukwekkende wijze in diverse talen vloeiend (Engels, Spaans, Frans, Italiaans). Wanneer het even mis liep met de maskers kwam ze ook altijd ter hulp! Opgelet: er zijn 2 masker zaken met dezelfde naam in Venetië! Voor de workshop moet je bij Ca’ Macana ORIGINAL zijn! En NIET bij Ca’ Macana Atelier. Wij stonden op het uur van onze reservatie aan de verkeerde, en ze liggen ruim 1,5 km uit elkaar 🙄

You could find many beautiful traditional and handmade Venetian mask from here. The staffs were really friendly and helpful in explaining the meaning of masks in English. I found two beautiful mask from here as a gift for family. They also let you visit their workplace where they explained in details about the process of making masks. I heard that they also have the workshop where you could make a mask by yourself. Love it!
