Last time I had Omakase with friends and it was fabulous. This time I stopped by for lunch special. Everything was so fresh, and I saw the chefs cutting the fish right during lunch. Wow if you are looking for something high quality and reasonably priced. Sake selection is amazing as well.

Whether it’s lunch or dinner, I find myself coming back again and again — and for good reason. Every piece of fish is incredibly fresh, beautifully prepared, and thoughtfully served. The quality is consistently impressive. Whether I’m ordering à la carte or going for the omakase, it never disappoints. What truly sets this place apart are the owners, Zen and Bee. They’ve created such a genuine, inviting atmosphere. They're always kind, attentive, and accommodating — you can really feel the care they put into both the food and the overall experience. Zentarou has quickly become one of our favorite spots in San Francisco — a true hidden gem in the Inner Sunset that’s always worth the visit.
