Top notch special occasion spot - extremely pricy, but outstanding meal, atmosphere, and service. Plan to spend at least 3 hours at dinner. After dinner we were given a brief tour of the kitchen and office, which was an unexpected and lovely touch. The staff are able to accommodate most dietary restrictions; we had a vegetarian in our group who reported the vegetarian versions of the dishes were tasty. Note that the restaurant serves exclusively pescatarian and vegetable-based dishes; no poultry or red meat.

I am sure the normal tasting menu is great. The vegetarian tasting menu was delicious, but nutritionally imbalanced enough (almost zero protein aside from some creme fraiche and yogurt in one dish) to give me indigestion. Vegetarian nutrition is often far off on fine dining menus, but, well, it shouldn't be. The concept and poem a bit much. Hard to keep a straight face through the menu.
