My favorite neighborhood spot in Russian Hill. Food is great, desserts homemade and John / Rebecca (owners) are super hospitable. Wait staff is wonderful.

Really enjoyed this spot overall. The food was excellent and the service attentive. The chicken was cooked to perfection, with beautifully crisped skin and great flavor. The risotto was rich and creamy while still having just the right bite, and the wine pairings worked very well. That said, the burrata appetizer was a real letdown. At $16 for just two pieces (with stale bread, no less), it felt underwhelming and overpriced, especially if you’re sharing. For a group of three or four, it just doesn’t make sense to serve it that way. Overall, a great experience thanks to the main dishes and service.
