Twin Peaks is a must-visit if you’re in San Francisco. I recently went and, even though the views were partially hidden by the city’s signature fog, it was still absolutely breathtaking. There’s something magical about watching the skyline slowly reveal itself through the mist—it adds a mysterious charm to the whole experience. The drive up is smooth and scenic, and I was pleasantly surprised by the ample free parking available at the top. It made the visit convenient, especially for families or anyone short on time. The short paved trails around the peaks are perfect for a light walk, and there are multiple vantage points to soak in panoramic views of the city, bay, and bridges (weather permitting). Even on a foggy day, you can still enjoy the wind, open skies, and a sense of peace away from the hustle and bustle below. For those who love photography or just need a quiet spot to reflect, Twin Peaks delivers. The only reason I’m not giving it a full 5 stars is the unpredictable weather—fog can obscure the best parts of the view, so timing your visit is key. Still, I’d definitely go again, especially at sunrise or sunset. Highly recommend adding it to your San Francisco itinerary!
