Za měasi druhé nejzajímavější místo hned po věži. Moc lidí tu není a jsou z hradeb krasné výhledy.

Wenn man Pisa abseits der Touristenorte erkunden möchte, kann man das auf der alten Stadtmauer tun. Je weiter man sich von der Kathedrale und dem Turm entfernt, umso weniger Leuten begegnet man. Die Mauer hat mehrere (barrierefreie!) Ein- und Ausgänge, sodass man seine Route individuell gestalten kann. Die längste Strecke dauert ca. eine Stunde. Man sollte bequeme Schuhe tragen, denn an manchen Stellen ist der Boden etwas uneben. Dies gilt auch zu beachten, falls man die Mauer mit Kinderwagen oder Rollstuhl befahren möchte.
