Pompidou - a contemporary art center founded in 1969 by the French politician Georges Pompidou. The complex opened three years after the death of the project's author. The architecture of the building itself is quite unusual and has no counterparts in the world. Georges Pompidou personally reviewed all possible project options and selected the best ones. Notably, the Pompidou Center is the third most popular tourist destination, trailing only behind the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre.

This was my second time visiting Centre Pompidou - the first was three years ago, when everything was still open, and now for the Wolfgang Tillmans exhibit. I had a great time! The place is definitely worth visiting if you have any interest in art. I can’t wait for it to fully reopen so I can enjoy the views from the upper levels again.
