We visited your restaurant yesterday and overall enjoyed the food. However, I would like to share a small concern for your attention. When our waiter first approached us, we greeted him in Farsi, but he responded only in English. At first, we thought perhaps he was not Iranian, but later we overheard him speaking fluent Farsi with his colleague at the bar. When we asked him about it, he explained that it is difficult for him to switch from English to Farsi when he knows someone can speak English. While I can understand his point of view, as Persian guests we felt a little unwelcome and disrespected by this interaction. It gave the impression that he was not comfortable engaging with us in our own language, even though we tried. In our short conversation, he also mentioned that he moved here two years ago for his master’s at Cambridge, and now he is doing this general job, which perhaps explains why he may not be fully happy in his position. Of course, I do not intend this as criticism of him personally, but simply to let you know that this situation affected our experience as customers. I will be removing this review in a few days, but I thought it was important for you as the owner to be aware. Thank you for taking this into consideration.

Ottimo ristorante di cucina persiana. Abbiamo ordinati gli spiedini di agnello e pollo con verdure che vengono accompagnati da riso basmati (o pane a scelta). Porzioni abbondanti e prezzi ottimi. Consigliatissimo
