Il Palazzo Cellammare, (anche Palazzo Francavilla) fu costruito nel XVI secolo per Giovanni Francesco Carafa. Durante la rivolta di Masaniello fu preso d'assalto e successivamente venne anche usato come lazzaretto. Nel XVIII secolo divenne dimora del principe di Francavilla Michele Imperiali, che lo trasformò in un luogo di incontro dell'alta società napoletana. L'edificio è stato oggetto di recenti restauri, che l'hanno portato all'attuale buono stato conservativo.
