The food was so good it genuinely made me tear up. And the staff were so thoughtful and generous when we were celebrating a big life event; they really made us feel special. Kol has a brilliant focus on local ingredients and bold flavours, with some very unusual combos - including one dish I was nervous of that used ants but they were SO delicious! Perfect for the adventurous epicurean. And every server was so knowledgeable about both the food and the drinks. We can’t wait to go back.

We came to KOL and had an incredible and memorable experience. The food was very well thought out. The menu really catered to gluten free needs - they went above and beyond to ensure the replacements were at the same level of quality and effort as the regular menu. Our favourite was the cavolo nero with summer truffle, but special mention to the ceviche and taco. The tortilla in the last meal were a bit undercooked, but otherwise, we cannot thank the team at KOL enough. You all really put a lot of heart into giving us a special time and we loved meeting you all. Arohanui and Ngā mihi.
