Thank you so much to The Star for such a beautiful LGBTQ+ friendly experience! We felt truly welcomed and cared for from the moment we arrived. It's such an amazing pub that opens its doors to everyone, and the staff were simply excellent. We had a wonderful time

Great food, great service. The new owners did a great job of turning the pub from a run down shit hole into a lovely family pub whilst keeping the old school decor in place. Wicked pub

A decent place to go for a solo drink or with a group of friends. Plenty of seating on either side of the bar. Also an upstairs seating area with pool table. Beer garden too which is a bonus on a summer's days. They just need to get rid of that one grotty looking parasole! Bar staff were friendly and polite. Toilets were clean to a good standard. They do food but on this occasion I did not eat. I was informed that events and live music do take place from time to time. I will visit again.
