You're in an entirely different massive room, the air thrumming with the energy of live music and DJs. We just love coming to Big Penny, although our visits are only a few every year as we travel from Lincoln to see the Basement Orchestra whenever they play there. The atmosphere is extraordinary, relaxed, noisy and friendly with kids welcome to run around and play. The food is great - I always have the steak bavette. It is really something to look forward to. The beers are well kept. I go for the IPA, which is quite strong and robust.
