I had such a good experience in Poika. I can only recommend you to go. They have various options for breakfast, and I chose the Turkish kahvalti which was extremely delicious. Great choice, excellent peynir, honey, eggs, bread, tea... The neighborhood is beautiful, and I appreciated the location of Poika, located in a quiet street. Thank you to Emir and the team at Poika.

Quite disappointed with the whole experience. The Turkish breakfast is around 600TL/person+13% service fee, the highest I’ve seen in Istanbul and I’m not even sure what we paid for. Food and service were average, bread was not the freshest. The view is a metallic fence right in front of the table. Also, the restaurant itself has aluminum foil covering the ventilation system and just too many things going on, not a great atmosphere, especially considering the other really good options in the city.
