Walking the city walls of Girona was one of my favorite experiences during our trip. It offers fantastic views of the city, it's free and provides a good workout. There are several opportunities to climb towers and the views from the top of those towers are quite impressive. There are a lot of stairs and at times, the walls are steep, so don't do this with a stroller or if you have mobility issues.

Activitat gratuïta i amb unes vistes fantàstiques de la ciutat. Es pot pujar a diverses torres i si hi puges pel costat dels Jardins de la Infància hi pots caminar fins arribar als peus de la Catedral. Cal tenir cura amb les escales, doncs algunes són força inclinades. No és una activitat per realitzar amb cadira de rodes, doncs les muralles romanes i medievals no tenien la mentalitat actual en relació a persones amb mobilitat reduïda. Per un cotxet, dependria de la força dels progenitors, però no crec que fos lo més apropiat. Algunes de les torres actualment són refugi per gent sense llar, motiu pel qual en alguns cosas poden acumular brutícia i algunes olors fortes. Simplement anar a la següent torre i llestos, si es prefereix. En tot cas és una activitat genial i amb unes vistes brillants. Cap el final del recorregut hi ha Els Jardins dels Alemanys, es poden visitar, es pot baixar o pujar a la muralla i prosseguir el camí per la muralla.
