Baily Lighthouse in Dublin
Über
Baily Lighthouse stands proudly on the Howth Peninsula, a striking 13-meter-high beacon that has guided ships since 1814. As you explore this historical gem, you'll be enchanted by the breathtaking vistas of rugged cliffs and the vast sea, all framed by lush greenery and vibrant flowers. The walking trails are a delight, offering a mostly flat and leisurely 2-hour stroll with abundant scenic rewards. Facilities such as toilets and informative signs enhance the experience, making it convenient for families. Easily accessible by a 40-50 minute bus ride from Dublin, this serene escape is perfect for capturing photos and enjoying the natural splendor. Just ensure to come prepared with sturdy shoes, as the paths can be a bit challenging, and pack some water and snacks to fuel your adventure. While you can't get too close to the lighthouse itself due to private property, the panoramic views from the surrounding cliffs more than make up for it.

What a stunning view! absolutely breathtaking! Can get there by an easy hike via the cliff walk from Howth summit or you can take the foot path from carrickback car park to get there directly. Public is not allowed to acceas the lighthouse, but you can enjoy some pretty amazing view of the surrounding bay area!

Beautiful!
