Right on the right bank of the river, near a large castle, there's a three-story restaurant that serves everything to satisfy both soul and appetite. Due to a large number of visitors, mainly tourists, they even made a separate menu in Russian.

The U Dwau Maryi restaurant is perfect for fans of large portions and delicious food: Czech cuisine and an interior designed in the spirit of an old establishment are guaranteed to please anyone who visits. The view of the river from the terrace is a small but very pleasant bonus for all guests.

V rámci firemního teambuildingu jsme zakončili program večeří v restauraci Krčma U dwau Maryí v Českém Krumlově. Restaurace je stylově zařízená v historickém duchu, což krásně doplňuje celkový zážitek z návštěvy tohoto města. Byli jsme větší skupina – přes 30 lidí – a přesto šlo vše poměrně rychle. Obsluha byla milá a organizovaná, na objednávky jsme nečekali dlouho a jídlo bylo na stole během krátké chvíle. U tak velké skupiny je to určitě pozitivní, bohužel se to ale podepsalo na kvalitě některých pokrmů. Pstruha na víně a rozmarýnu s bramborem nebylo dostatečně teplé a chuťově poměrně nevýrazné – chybělo mu jak výrazné dochucení, tak sůl. Je možné, že ryby byly připravené dopředu kvůli rychlému servisu, což chápu, ale výsledný dojem to bohužel pokazilo. Pokud restauraci navštívíte, doporučuji raději zvolit některé z tradičních staročeských jídel, která budou možná lepší volbou. Pozitivem je možnost platby kartou a krásné historické prostředí, které restauraci dodává jedinečnou atmosféru.

Great food. Great Hospitality. Great Staff. As a solo traveller, I was very well taken care of. I went for the Bohemian Vegetarian Feast. The portion is hearty enough for any ravenously hungry traveller.
