The Basilica of the Holy Blood of Christ is the oldest and most significant building in all of Bruges. The church features two traditional levels, the lower of which was constructed back in the twelfth century.

The Romanesque style of the basilica is evident in every stone and marble column. Following an ancient "recipe," the building's walls are constructed from limestone, which enhances the interior's stark and cold ambiance. The Blood of Christ, representing one of the main relics of the Christian world, attracts numerous tourists and locals to the church. Due to such popularity, the Chapel of the Holy Cross was added to the basilica, noticeably expanding its area. Here, sculptures of Jesus on the Cold Stone and the wooden Madonna with Child are also kept, to which many faithful come to pay their respects.

Igreja é muito antiga e cheia de imagens . Ponto alto é conseguir ver o Sangue de Cristo. Uma cerimônia simples mas emocionante.

Empezaré por el atractivo del lugar y es el trozo que tienen con la sangre de Jesús; lo mantienen en una urna, está prohibido tomarle fotos o videos (no falta quien lo haga y no le digan nada) puedes dar algún aporte voluntario al momento de ver la urna, hacer una oración si quieres o simplemente admirar, reparar la sangre. Te dan un folleto con la oración de la sangre de cristo en varios idiomas. El lugar es muy frecuentado, la entrada es gratis, la basílica es pequeña, bien conservada.

Carina nulla di che, si sale a piedi (ascensore non sempre funzionate) molto piccola. La reliquia si vede a fatica perchè è dietro una techa su un altare. (Si vede solo la teca). Ingresso gratis
