Wir waren an einem Samstag direkt zur Ladenöffnung zu zweit für ein Brunch vor Ort. Auch wenn der Laden ziemlich voll war, gab es sowohl für die Bestellung, als auch für das Essen eine angemessene Wartezeit. Man sollte sich hier jedoch nicht täuschen lassen, das Brunch gibt es nicht - wie man vielleicht anfangs denken kann - als Buffet, sondern a la carte. Die Auswahl ist überschaubar, ich bin jedoch prinzipiell ein Fan, wenn die Karte nicht zu überladen ist und egal ob man auf süßes oder deftiges Lust hat, man findet etwas. In der Auslage im Tresen gibt es neben dem Kartenangebot auch kleinere Leckereien und Snacks. Das Essen hat geschmeckt, die Portionen waren ausreichend um lange satt zu bleiben, hier auf dem Bild zu sehen sind die marinierten Bohnen mit Sauerteigbrot und ein French Toast. Falls ich mal wieder in der Nähe bin, schaue ich sicher noch mal vorbei.

The ambience and service were good. Unfortunately, the food needs some work. The young potato salad was normal potato salad on toast, but the main issue was that it was covered in about 2 cm of bland, cold grated tofu without any seasoning. The udon carbonara did not have any sauce, just the tiniest bit of olive oil and nothing else - no cream, no liquid in general. It was covered in breadcrumbs, making it even drier than it already would've been without sauce. There should've at least been an attempt to make a creamy carbonara sauce when you're calling it that, but even if that wasn't possible, any sauce would've been preferable to none. The mimosa had too much orange juice and not enough prosecco. The only item that was great was the strawberry rhubarb cake - I would still go back to try other pastries.
