It has been a hundred years since the Berlin Aquarium was opened, where today 800 species and 9,000 marine fauna inhabitants reside. This building is located on the territory of the Berlin Zoo, so to make the tour cheaper, it's worth buying both tickets at the ticket office at once.

On the first floor of the three-story building, there's an exhibition of fish, the second floor hosts reptiles, and the third - insects and tarantulas. The light on the first floor of the aquarium is slightly dimmed, but the second along with the third are brightly lit, creating a special visual effect.

The jellyfish exhibit looks very original. They are contained in a cylindrical transparent tank. A special device is built into it, letting in and releasing water, thanks to which it moves continuously. Visitors with small children will find it especially interesting to observe the anthills and jellyfish aquariums.

Leuke plek om even langs te gaan. ondanks verbouwing geen last van gehad.naast vissen hebben ze er ook reptielen/amfibieën en insecten.
