Jewish Museum in Berlin
Über
Kristallnacht and fragments of words about the life of the chosen people in Germany - the Jewish Museum, you could say, was born closed, and was reconstructed in 1971 through the efforts of architect Libeskind. The curves of lines, the irregular shape, and the floor at a steep angle - every detail is significant, as it is a monument to the heavy burden of the Jewish people. The Garden of Exile, where there are specks of Israeli soil, the Holocaust Tower with a spire resembling a fragment of the sky - its gloom and impenetrable darkness are mesmerizing, and one's breath slows down. A pomegranate tree, a knapsack, a wedding tent - numerous exhibitions, where everyone can touch history with their hands, attract the public. Sadness follows your steps, but faith is always stronger - in a better tomorrow and the absence of terrible mistakes.

Indrukwekkend. Jammer dat er geen Nederlandse tourguide is.
