Noordermarkt is a large farmers' market in Amsterdam that operates on Saturdays for over 20 years now and is considered one of the best markets in Europe. All the goods available for purchase at the market are grown and produced by local residents. Here, you can always buy vegetables, fruits, meat, bread, and a huge variety of different kinds of cheese, but most importantly - everything here is natural and organic. On Mondays from eight in the morning, the market also starts trading clothes and accessories. Besides all this, at the market, one can find essential goods and enjoy a hearty lunch at a nearby cafe.

A linear market, stalls are mainly clothes, fabrics and electronic gadget accessories. A few bread and few stalls. Very busy even on a Monday at 10.30am

Great artisan market - jewelry, art, clothes, cheese, flowers. If you're in Amsterdam on Saturday, you must go! On the back of it there's the big Wochenmarkt that has a bunch of different delicious food. These two markets are a fantastic way to spend half a Saturday with friends or by yourself
