Overall, it houses the entire history of the Netherlands, starting from the 12th century up to the present day.

值得特別另外評論分享的造訪點。有時候大建築設計師Pierre Cuypers的設計感、美感、藝術性不見得須要透過宏大滂薄的建物來彰顯，像Cuypers Library這樣不大的場域在Cuypers的「巧手」下一樣極為精彩。關於Cuypers Library的一些主要特色在Rijksmuseum的網頁中已有介紹這裡就不贅述，想再提的是Cuypers在一些鐵件的手工鍛造和雕琢真是讓我非常喜愛，造訪者可多注意欄杆以及螺旋階梯的扶手與隔擋。此外除了Cuypers的設計外，現在的這個圖書館的迷人或許還部份來自書架上藏書書封的顏色搭配，試想若書架上的書封全為單一的灰色會是何光景。國家博物館的必訪之一，造訪Rijksmuseum時不可錯過。

La biblioteca può essere visitata acquistando un biglietto per il museo o per fare ricerche. La visita al museo da acceso solo ad un piccolo balcone per fare due foto. Rimane molto carina.

We visited the library during our trip to the Rijksmuseum. We went to the balcony at Room 2.16 and could see the library from above. Visitors should stay quiet to respect the people studying inside. I learned that it’s the largest and oldest art history library in the Netherlands. Honestly, it reminded me of Harry Potter — the tall bookshelves, the staircases, and the charming atmosphere all felt so magical. Definitely don’t miss it during your visit to the Rijksmuseum!
