You don't often find a good restaurant. There's a handfull here and there of oks and mehs. This restaurant is different. I'm writing this review because I think Reiwa should be known. We ordered katsu curry don and a bunch of other sides and this food changed my life. All the food was home cooked and fresh. The sauces were lovely. The service was amazing and atmosphere was beautiful. Lots of traditional japanese culture like chopsticks and lanterns. We also ordered a ferrero rocher cheesecake and it was sooo tasty. It was rich and indulgent and chocolaty. The cream cheese part was light, fluffy and jiggly and the ice cream was great quality. They even gave us mints when we were paying for the bill. We left happy, full and satisfied. It was a great bonding experience for the family. We even went back a second time in the same week. Reiwa is the best place to eat in town. Reiwa MUST be known.

The food was well-prepared and tasty, but I feel like the staff could be a bit more patient and not so anxious. We got there on a Tuesday, right after the restaurant had just opened and the place was empty. The waiter gave us the menu and, not even 3 minutes later he came back asking if we were ready to order. We also ordered one appetizer and two main dishes and the appetizer came 5 minutes after the main dishes. Food-wise, the Chicken Katsu Curry Don was pretty good, but I feel the balance between the rice and the curry could be a bit better. There was too much rice for the amount of curry on the dish. My partner really enjoyed her Aburi Salmon Don. The highlight was the Tori Karaage, which was incredibly tasty and the sauce that comes with complemented well the dish. Overall, it’s a pretty good place to grab some hot japanese food, but it could improve a tiny bit.
