Great sandwiches that I usually enjoy. However, I sadly feel the need to give a three star rating, instead of a five star that I normally give, because I was appalled at the attitude of the lady who served me today, the 11th of August. I was left with the impression that she couldn't care, or even be bothered satisfying customers. After taking my order, and giving me my order number to listen out for, and despite sitting nearby and listening out for my order number to be shouted, I heard absolutely nothing for a good 15 minutes. After going up to the counter wondering what was taking so long, because they're always really quick with completing orders, I saw her casually spreading butter on pieces of bread, with my order just sitting on the counter. As I surprised to see this, because I heard absolutely nothing being shouted from there like I usually do, I asked her how long it was there for. She checked the screen and told me ten minutes. I was appalled at this, because it was evident to me she either said nothing when my order was put on the counter for collection, or said it in a low tone that would not be audible in the middle of a noisy shopping centre. Also, it is clear that she made no further effort to make sure the order number was heard throughout that ten minutes like other places do, and went staight away doing something else and didn't even care if anyone came to collect the order or not. The shrugging of the face she did after she told me how long it was on the counter for gave me the impression that she's implying that it's not her problem it was there for so long. Please coach all staff to ensure they're actually audible when saying order numbers when an order is ready for collection, even shout it if necessary, as it is in the middle of a noisy shopping centre. Also ensure they make more attempts to say it out loud to make sure they're heard in such a noisy environment, and not just place an order on a counter, say the order number in a low tone that is likely not going to be heard by a customer, even if they are listening out, and just walk away doing something else and don't even care if it's collected or not, assuming your job is done, even if it was done incompetently, as it is poor customer service skills.

Myself and my mam went to Griolladh in Douglas this afternoon and shared the tastiest wrap ever!!. The girl taking our order was so helpful and gave us the recommendation of their chicken ceaser wrap. I am raging that we had eaten breakfast only a while before because it was so tasty. We will definitely be returning with hungrier stomachs in the future to try out the rest of the menu :))
