Staff were quite rude! Drinks are on the pricier side. Bowling itself was fine, place was clean, venue is large.

Found an old voucher, the person who issued it wasnt in charge anymore but they still took it and even gave us options how to use it.

Absolutely baffling experience at Maradyke Bowl. Four of us (aged 24–26) went in around 2pm on a Sunday hoping to bowl. We were met by a young woman at the counter who seemed completely disinterested from the get go. When we asked if there was availability for four people, she immediately asked for ID. We explained that only three of us had ID on us, but that our fourth friend was 26. She looked at us and asked, “Does he have a parent or guardian with him?”—we genuinely thought she was joking. When we questioned it, she doubled down and said he couldn’t play unless his “mammy or daddy” came upstairs. The tone was incredibly condescending and we were just left stunned. We left completely bewildered. It was rude, unnecessarily patronizing, and frankly ridiculous. Won’t be returning, and would advise others to steer clear if you’re looking for a basic, respectful customer experience.
