The food and service was exceptional - our meal was more of an experience guided by the chef Lorenzo, who came and talked us through each dish he had created. A Mortero does not offer a traditional menu of dishes that you can find in any of the other Cordoba restaurants, instead offering quite a unique tasting menu with an amazing wine pairing. It was in some ways a relief not to worry about what to order and to simply sit back and trust in what chef Lorenzo was going to create. The Quale and the Beef rib was delicious as were the wines from Asturias. The price was really good value - 45€ for a 6 course tasting menu with wine pairing. A big thank you to Lorenzo and Meri-Patos for a great evening - we will certainly be back when next in Cordoba.
