About

Torre De La Malmuerta in Córdoba stands as a remarkable piece of medieval architecture with a compelling story. Built in the early 15th century, this albarrana tower was once a part of the city's fortifications and takes inspiration from a gate in Seville. Its name, translating to the Tower of the Wrongly Killed Woman, echoes a poignant legend that adds a layer of intrigue to its historic walls. The monument remains well-preserved, offering visitors an authentic glimpse into the past. Families will find it a suitable and engaging site for children, blending history with a touch of local myth, and it consistently receives high praise from its visitors.
