This was our second visit to The Yard, having truly enjoyed the first. We invited a couple of friends to have dinner with us so we could catch up, having not seen each other for over 20 years. At the time of booking, I had requested a relatively quiet table so that we could chat comfortably. When Aimee, the delightful General Manager, greeted us on arrival, we were impressed that she had considered my request and seated us in a pleasant, quiet booth. It was a superb evening again! The service, food and ambiance were all excellent. You can sense that the team at The Yard are all passionate about offering a great dining experience. Of course, it was a real treat to try more of Carl the Head Chef’s dishes, especially when we explained to our friends that he had worked with Gordon Ramsay in his 2 Michelin Star restaurant. Furthermore, there is nothing pretentious about The Yard. It’s great food at great prices!
