A nice relaxing two night stay at The Boathouse& Riverside Rooms. The Boathouse is located next to the River Dee, so is ideal from walks beside the river. The centre of Chester is a 5 minute walk away. The breakfast at the Boathouse is excellent.

We are a family of five with three young children, so eating out can be a challenge, especially with an 18 month old who doesn't sit still. But the atmosphere was really friendly and chilled, with staff making us feel welcomed. Food was delicious and reasonably priced.
