We went for a Sunday Roast. The Yorkshire puddings are massive! Beef was lovely and tender Staff were very polite and friendly. Well worth a visit.

We went on a Friday evening and really enjoyed our experience Food was amazing I chose steak & mushroom pie with new potatoes peas&green beans which was which sooo tasty with lots of steak in it and homemade, my husband had the bacon chop which he enjoyed immensely, my so opted for the pizza which was homemade well presented and very tasty and satisfying. The staff were extremely friendly yet professional and attentive, there was a friendly atmosphere at all times. Definatley worth a visit.

What am absolute gem of a place. Last minute weekend in Chester and decided this pub looked like a good bet for dinner, we certainly weren't disappointed. I had the roast bacon joint and my partner the fish and chips, both were fabulous, my roast was by far the best roast dinner I've ever had in a pub and I've had a few! We both had affogato for pudding with a shot of frangelico. Price was very good for what we had and the service was amazing, a really friendly place, just a shame we don't live here, because this would definitely be somewhere we'd go regularly.
