Lovely multi-level taproom with big bar, downstairs room for music and excellent outside space by the canal. We enjoyed several pints and the outside seating is perfect for sundowners as it faces directly West. CAMRA discount also honoured for cask beers.

A Chester institution, an amazing location in terms of the traditional feel, proper bar area and amazing views over the canal basin. Amazing food, good choice of drinks, good vibes. First went over a decade ago, and hope to still be visiting a decade from now
