Whenever I am in Chester, and time allows, I usually head to Cosy Club for Breakfast, and today was no exception. The location is superb, I love the atmosphere, so inviting and friendly, there is always low level smooth jazz or easy listening playing in the background. I don;t know what the recruitment policy is there, but whatever it is, it works. The staff are never less than excellent. Helpful, friendly, and always endeavour to be accomodating, even when I visit with relatives who have limited mobility. There is an elevator to help those with restricted mobility to access the 1st floor venue, though this was down for maintenance today. The coffee is really superb, so much better then coffee shops on the high street, and sourced from a UK based roaster, and I indulged in the Classic grill breakfast. Everything was cooked and presented superbly, you could tell the source ingredients were top notch, the mushroom was exemplary, and the bacon / sausage were both very good. If you find yourself looking for breakfast in Chester, you really should treat yourself to breakfast / brunch at Cosy Club, and the prices are very reasonable. I should mention I have also visited Cosy Club in Bournemouth, and as nice as that one is, and as consistently excelent both staff and food are, I still rate Chester as my favourite. Great job and keep it up!
